As part of The Thread’s innovative fundraising model, we’ve launched The Drop—an online fashion platform that generates ongoing revenue while showcasing the creativity and craftsmanship of our youth and designer collaborators.
This platform complements our three-tiered patron experiences by offering a digital storefront for:
- Student-Created Designs: Unique fashion and accessory items made from repurposed materials, demonstrating the skills youth gain through our programming.
- Designer-Donated Pieces: One-of-a-kind items contributed by established fashion designers who support our mission.
- Quarterly Limited-Edition Releases: Each seasonal “drop” aligns with themes from our workshops and community fashion shows, reinforcing the visibility of youth talent.
